About the Role
Midwich are embarking on an ambitious digital transformation program, which includes the global deployment of the Microsoft D365 ERP solution (Sales/Finance/SCM) as well as a new group wide e-commerce platform (Adobe Commerce).
We require an experienced D365 Roles Security and Licence Administrator to join us as a part of our Enterprise Applications Team. This person will be responsible for the design, definition, implementation, and ongoing administration of all user & admin roles required within the groups global D365 solution, as well as ensuring the appropriate license is allocated to the role/user.

What you will be doing in this role
• Create a process to ensure users are assigned to their appropriate operational role and security groups within the solution so they can perform their assigned roles without jeopardising solution data and compliance requirements.
• Work with the commercial IT team to ensure license allocations are optimised for efficiency and cost saving where available, utilising security role, user license and team member licenses optimally.
• Work with operational IT to define and implement a simple role/licence allocation process for joiners and movers, as well as role/license de-allocation for leavers.
• Understanding the D365 system and functional roles and how they have been implemented within the Midwich Group D365 solution.
• Work with the solution architects to ensure all required roles are defined and implemented using Microsoft best practise for role segregated security controls.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of user to role to license allocations to support commercial and operational auditing.

What you will bring to the role
• Significant experience in roles and user administration within a large scale D365 solution
• Experience in aspects of security administration within Microsoft M365 and Azure environments.
• Functions as a subject matter expert in D365 roles and security management.
• Experience within D365 security and licensing within the CE and F&O modules.
