About the Role
Due to exciting growth we are looking for a strategic, people focused professional to join us as our new UK Service Manager. As a services business, this position is of significant strategic importance where the successful candidate will be overseeing and enhancing our service centre operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, efficient repair processes and exceptional customer experiences.

What you will be doing in this role
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all service centres within Midwich, ensuring seamless service delivery, efficient repair processes, and exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead the integration and optimization efforts for our support teams across all subsidiaries. Work closely with IT teams to customize the platform according to the unique needs of each business unit.
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance standards for service delivery. Implement performance metrics, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and repair partners. Negotiate contracts, evaluate service level agreements, and ensure vendors meet Midwich’s service standards.
• Provide strong leadership to service centre teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and mentor team members, encouraging their professional growth within the organization.
What you will bring to the role
• Proven experience in service operations management, preferably in a multi-subsidiary business environment.
• Strong background in implementing and optimising service management software platforms, preferably Fresh Service or similar tools.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
