About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior LED Installation Technician to lead the delivery of high-quality LED video wall installations across various environments. The role involves conducting detailed site surveys, preparing technical reports, managing on-site installations to completion, and ensuring customer satisfaction is consistently achieved. You will also play a key role in mentoring technicians and shaping the ongoing development of installation standards and best practices within the department
What you will be doing in this role
Project Delivery & Installation
• Lead the end-to-end installation of LED video wall systems, including mounting, cabling, configuration, and system testing.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and third parties to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification.
• Conduct final system checks and handovers, ensuring seamless functionality and customer satisfaction.
Site Surveys & Reporting
• Perform thorough on-site surveys to assess installation requirements including structural, power, and data considerations.
• Produce clear, comprehensive survey and installation reports to inform planning and execution phases.
Customer Experience & Satisfaction
• Serve as the main technical point of contact during installations, ensuring a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Communicate effectively with clients on-site, providing updates, technical guidance, and training where needed.
• Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard of finish and system performance.
Team Leadership & Development
• Mentor and develop junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and skills development. Promote a positive team culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Provide feedback to management on development needs.
Process Improvement & Standards
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of installation procedures, checklists, and documentation. Recommend and help implement improvements in tools, workflows, and quality control processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging LED technologies.
What you will bring to the role
• LED Project Installation Experience
• Strong understanding of LED display technology, video processing and structural mounting solutions
• Experience in conducting site surveys for LED Projects
• Experience in leading installations and being the main point of contact for client and internal staff
• Ideally Experience of LED installations on products from Absen, Samsung, LG, NEC & Sony.
• Good familiarity and knowledge of Novastar LED control software
• Passionate about high standards and successful delivery of projects
• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Strong Organisational Skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
• Competent with Microsoft Packages
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
