Visionary introduces the DuetE5-WP-C 4K60 4:4:4 Wallplate AV over IP Encoder, Visionary’s first USB-C input wallplate, expanding the versatility of the 5 Series platform. Building upon Visionary’s proven PacketAV® technology, the DuetE5-WP-C delivers the performance and simplicity of networked AV in an elegant in-wall form factor designed for professional installations.

The DuetE5-WP-C encodes 4K60 4:4:4 ultra-low-latency video and Dante®/AES67 audio over a single Gigabit Ethernet port, ensuring outstanding visual fidelity and network efficiency. Combining both USB-C and HDMI inputs, it offers flexible source connectivity for modern devices while maintaining consistent image quality and system reliability across the network.

The USB-C input supports DisplayPort Alt Mode video and bi-directional USB-over-IP data, allowing KVM extension and USB device routing across the network. USB peripherals such as cameras or control interfaces connected to a remote 5-series decoder can be accessed through the wallplate’s USB-C port, bridging local and networked USB functionality.

Designed for quick and reliable installation, the DuetE5-WP-C is powered by standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) and connects through a single category cable. Its angled 45-degree Ethernet connector allows installers to maintain proper CAT5/6 bend-radius compliance within electrical boxes, reducing cable strain and ensuring consistent performance in tight spaces.
