OmniStream Plus 2x1 AVoIP Encoder with USB

The HW-OMNI-E4521 combines high-quality OmniStream AV distribution with USB-C and USB connectivity. It is built for spaces where a laptop needs to connect to the room’s display and USB devices while the AV and USB signals travel across the network. • Includes USB-C and HDMI input switching.

The HW-OMNI-E4521 is a networked AV encoder for HDMI sources up to 4K/60 4:4:4 and HDR, plus embedded audio, RS-232 or IR control pass-through, and an integrated USB-C input with USB hub. Powered by the advanced VCx™ codec, it delivers 4K/60 4:4:4 from encode to decode with artifact-free presentation and ultra-low latency of less than one frame. Dual encoding engines with independent scalers enable simultaneous 4K/60 4:4:4 and 1080p streaming. USB-C supports device charging up to 60W with an optional power supply. The HW-OMNI-E4521 is housed in a half-width rack enclosure and pairs with HW-OMNI-D4511 decoders for USB-extended BYOD AV over IP systems.

Use Room USB Devices from the Presenter’s Laptop
The integrated USB hub works with the matching D4511 decoder to connect the laptop to USB devices located near the display or elsewhere in the room.

Charge While Connected
With the optional power supply, the USB-C connection can provide up to 60 watts of charging so compatible laptops can stay powered during use.

High-Quality 4K with Little Delay
The same VCx-based OmniStream performance keeps presentations, graphics, and motion video clear and responsive.

One Laptop Connection for the Room
USB-C can carry the presenter’s video and USB connection through the OmniStream system, reducing the number of separate connections needed at the table or lectern.
