About the Role
As the Business Development Executive, you will be working within the Invision & Pulse Internal Sales team, focusing on the preservation of existing business whilst uncovering additional opportunity for sales growth. In this role you will be given a number of existing accounts to manage, build a client centric relationship with those accounts, as well as engaging with previous spend and no spend accounts delivering a high level of customer service ensuring customer retention. As this is a sales role there will be KPI’s to aid in building success within this role.
What you will be doing in this role
• Proactively building relationships and developing sales opportunities.
• Promote and identify key product areas highighted by the business as important future revenue and profit streams.
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the customer's organisational structure, key personnel, decision makers, financial status, business activities, trading history and potential needs.
• Engaging with customers on both proactive and reactive calls to profile the customer, specify solution and close the deal.
• Liaise with sales specialists to highlight potential opportunities for their products and technologies.
• Uncover competitive activity within our customers and implement a plan to secure the business away from our competition.
• Effective handling of day-to-day issues and take necessary action to ensure a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
