About the Role
Midwich Group is on a mission to transform its global operations through cutting-edge AI, data-driven solutions, and a new e-commerce platform. As part of this ambitious programme, we’re looking for a talented and driven Group IT Engineer to help build and support the backbone of our international IT infrastructure.
You’ll be part of a high-performing IT function driving real change. You’ll have the opportunity to work on strategic projects, collaborate with global teams, and make a tangible impact on our technology landscape.
What you will be doing in this role
As a hands-on technical expert, you’ll:
• Administer and maintain servers, networks, and virtualization platforms
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Manage email security with Mimecast and identity services via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Ensure security, compliance, and continuity across systems and services
• Contribute to automation strategies and infrastructure projects
• Act as a key escalation point for complex technical issues
• You’ll work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Application, and Service Delivery teams to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable solutions across our global footprint.
What you will bring to the role
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Mimecast, and Azure AD
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• A self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
