About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Analyst to join our growing Information Security team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their cybersecurity career, playing a vital role in protecting the integrity and resilience of our Group-wide security operations
What you will be doing in this role
• Own and Manage Security Alerts: Take end-to-end ownership of raised security alerts and requests, managing issues across multiple levels of criticality and ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and Analyse Security Infrastructure: Support the monitoring, analysis, and ongoing maintenance of the Group’s security infrastructure to help identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
• Drive Security Improvements: Contribute to the continuous improvement of security practices by identifying gaps, making recommendations, and drafting proposals to strengthen standards across the organisation.
• Be the Go-To Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for all security monitoring and log-related enquiries when required, ensuring clear and professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement Security Measures: Proactively address vulnerabilities by implementing protective measures or collaborating with local support teams to mitigate risks and safeguard against identified threats.
What you will bring to the role
• A keen interest in cybersecurity, with some prior experience or strong educational foundation in information security or related fields.
• Ability to analyse complex information and detect patterns or anomalies in data and system behaviour.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the confidence to propose improvements to technical and procedural practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
